How to handle sectors that have been merged, separated?

In case you have to modify one of the existing sectors, such as: 

  1. Sectors merged into one 
  2. Sector separated in two 
  3. Similar situations

SOLUTION
In the config section, delete the modified sector(s), and create new sectors. 
Note: Old data will not be affected. The reports always remain with the old values.
