Lesson 2 - Basic Functions

At the end of this training, you will know how to:
  1. Install the mobile application
  2. Know how to get your USER and Password
  3. Understand how synchronization works
  4. Know the various types of accounts and accesses
  5. Familiarize yourself with the menus of the mobile application


Training

1 - How do I install the mobile application? 

To install, choose your mobile operating system below:

2 - Username and Password

  1. This information should be requested from your supervisor, if you have not received it by email.
  2. If you need to change your password, ask your supervisor.



3 - How does syncronization work?

  1. FarmUp is prepared to work even without internet access.
  2. For this reason, the device saves the information on the server until it can send it to the server. The device synchronizes automatically every 5 minutes.
  3. If you run the synchronization for the first time, it can take up to 5 minutes depending on your phone and the amount of data.
  4. When synchronizing, you will be able to access data from the last 90 days.


Manual sycnronization: 

To synchronize working maps and crops, it is necessary to perform a manual synchronization. 

On the control panel screen, swipe down with your finger, or click the sync button. 

            









How the sync indicator works: 


VERDE = Synchronized to hh:mm
CINZENTO = Sychronization in progress
LARANJA  = Unsynchronized data exists, last synchronization at hh:mm
VERMELHO = Not synchronized; last synchronization at hh:mm



4 - Understand the different levels of access 

  1. Worker, Driver, Maintenance, Field: No access to the application.
  2. Harvest Supervisor: Has access to the mobile app, can manage his team and only has access to the data he created. Cannot edit data created more than 24 hours ago.
  3. Irrigation/Storage: Has access to the Irrigation and Stock modules of the mobile application.
  4. Team Manager/Senior Supervisor: Full access to the application, but cannot modify configurations.
  5. Administrator: Full access to the WEB PORTAL and application.
