Lesson 4 - Workmaps

Introduction

The working maps feature helps you to:
  1. Create records of field operations
  2. Record workers' work hours
  3. Record breaks and meals
  4. Create checklists, including start-of-day checklists for GLOBALG.A.P.
  5. In the case of harvesting, get all harvest information in one place only


At the end of the training you will:
  1. Know the options of the working maps screen
  2. Know how to create prescription maps
  3. Know how to close work charts
  4. Understand how to transfer workers between maps
  5. Know other options for work charts
  6. Know how to delete workmaps

As an Administrator, you will also learn how to use the Web Portal to:

1 - How do I get to the Working Maps screen?

  1. On the bottom menu bar, click  Mapas


How do I read the information on the screen?

  1. Filters: Day, Location, Supervisor, Job Type, Worker)
  2. Number of workers in the maps
  3. Number of maps created
  4. Shortcut to the time record
  5. Add maps
  6. Start time of the map
  7. Map end time
  8. People on map & Type of work
  9. Location
  10. Creation/editing time
  11. Break
  12. Supervisor



 - How to create a workmap

      2.1 - Mapa simples

       Click  in the upper right corner
       Select 'Create map'

STEP 1 : GENERAL SCREEN
       
  1. TYPE OF WORK: Select the type of work to be done
  2. LOCATION: Select the sector
  3. DATE
  4. START: Select the starting time of the work
  5. END: You must fill in only if you already know the end time
  6. BREAK: Usually lunch time. This time is not counted as work
  7. Press to save the information
STEP 2 : WORKERS SCREEN
      
  1. ABSENT WORKER: Use this option if you want to mark the worker absent
  2. EXCLUDE: Use this option if this worker will not participate in this chart
  3. ALREADY AT WORK: Shows your workers who are assigned to another map with no end time
  4. ABSENT: This worker is marked absent and cannot be used
  5. Press  to save the information

STEP 3: CHECKLIST SCREEN
      
  1. CHECK OK: Click on the up indicator
  2. CHECK NOT: Click on the down indicator
  3. NO CHECK: Do not click if the check is not done at this moment
  4. ALL OK: Click to declare all as OK
  5. Note field / for GLOBALG.A.P. to use as corrective action field
  6. Press  to save the information


 2.2 - Multiple workmaps

These maps are suitable when you plan to perform the same job in several locations       
  1. Click  in the upper right corner
  2. Select "Create multiple workmaps"

      



3 - How do I close a workmap?

Why it is important to close the workmap:

  1. Correct calculation of workers' hours
  2. Making workers available for other maps
  3. Correct calculations of hours spent in field operations




4 - How do I transfer workers between workmaps?

NOTE: Workers can only be transferred if they have no set end time. Likewise, they cannot be sent to closed workmaps.

  1. Select the source map
  2. Click "Transfer Workers"
  3. Select workers or click select all
  4. Select the destination map
  5. If the map no longer has any workers you can close the map
  6. Choose end time



5 - Other options for workmaps

  1. Work Map Info: Enter/Edit map content
  2. Edit Hours: Edit start, pause and end time of work
  3. Checklist: Enter/Edit checklist





6 - How do I delete a workmap? 

NOTE: This option is only available for maps without harvest entries. Checklist entries, scrap will not be deleted.
  1. Select the source map
  2. Click "Delete"
  3. Confirm



FOR ADMINISTRATORS

In the Web Portal, you can perform the following functions:

  1. Query information from job maps
  2. Check checklist reports
  3. Consult work hours report




1 - Listing of workmaps


  1. This report shows the list of prescription maps for the day, but you can use the date filter to consult data from another day. 
  2. To export the information press   and paste into Excel or other software of your choice
  3. It is possible to query more detailed information and edit the maps using the portal, by clicking on the actions column.





2 - Checklist Report

This report shows values from the cumulative results screen in the mobile application

  1. Select the interval of the days 
  2. To export the information, select one of the options: 



3 - Working Hours Report

This report allows you to generate reports for one or more days with work hours for each worker by location, type of work, etc.
